My wife is a Mastergardiner and would like a microscope that does a good job on viewing plant diseases. I am at a lost as to what to buy her. Can you help?

Pcolley,

I would recommend a stereo microscope if she is looking at the whole plant or pieces of it under the microscope. The best one we have in stock is the Lomo SF-100. This microscope has a long working distance and can magnify up to 100X. Stereo microscopes are meant for viewing objects rather than slides.

If she is going to view thin sections of the plant she will need a compound microscope such as the Konus Biorex II.
