Does anyone know if a) there are any mac compatible digital microscope cameras? and b) how affordable one might be?
I'm not a scientist, I'm a film and video "artist" (I hate that word) and I'd like to start exploring the use of microscopy for some of my projects. unfortunately in the brief research that I've done it seems most are made to work with Windows.
I'm pretty lazy about checking these weboards- so if anyone has an answer it would be greatly appreciated to get a reply at j9fleri@hotmail.com |

There are several microscope cameras available. It depends on the resolution you require. For viewing on a laptop 1.2 megapixels is sufficient. For this you could try the Konus microscope camera. It comes with several adapters. You would remove the eyepiece and insert the camera.
For more resolution try the Moticam 2000. This is from our sister website, OpticsPlanet.com. The Moticam 2000 has live 2.0 Megapixels imaging.
