I am thinking about buying a microscope for my grand son. He is only 8 years old, but he is extremely bright. What would you reccomend

Dear Pam,

Personally I think that an eight year old, no matter how bright, is a bit young for a microscope. I think you'd have as much fun, and get as much educational value with a good magnifier.

If your heart is set on a microscope take a look at the Meade 8200 Student Microscope.
